As a crucial member of our backend team, you will help in modernizing our existing data gathering applications and spearheading the development of new, innovative solutions. You will collaborate with a team of friendly and skilled professionals in a dynamic and supportive environment.

• Take charge of designing, developing, and continuously improving backend services primarily using C#, while also embracing opportunities to work with Go and Python.
• Spearhead the modernization efforts of our data gathering applications, focusing on enhancing efficiency and scalability.
• Actively contribute to the creation of new applications, particularly data gathering applications, with a strong emphasis on achieving high performance and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to integrate backend data services within our broader infrastructure.
• Uphold code quality and sustainability through adherence to best practices and active participation in code reviews.
• Demonstrate flexibility by adapting to changing priorities in our data landscape, consistently engaging with documentation, and actively seeking and incorporating feedback.
• Take ownership of the approximately 40,000 (and growing!) time series (tracking millions of data points).
• Mentor junior team members and collaborate closely with the data procurement manager to realize evolving business needs.
