Your mission

As a Working Student in User Acceptance Testing at Convex Energy, you'll have the opportunity to dive into the realm of energy trading alongside a dedicated team of professionals. This role is tailored for students eager to jumpstart their careers in the energy industry, providing exposure to both trading and analytical aspects. 
Your Role: 

• Establish testing procedures for new releases and existing products  
• Review requirements specifications and acceptance criteria to provide feedback and ensure requirements are testable 
• Create test plans and test cases  
• Execute test cases to ensure the system is robust and fit for purpose 
• Report defects and work with the development team towards resolution of the defects 
• Attend regular team meetings (daily stand-ups, refinement meetings, etc.) 
• Work closely with developers and end users throughout the software life cycle to ensure that applications meet the needs of the users 

Your profile

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in a relevant field such as Energy Economics, Finance, Business Administration, (Product) Management, or IT/Engineering. 
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills. 
• Able to prioritize tasks effectively. 
• Proficiency in numerical analysis with a keen attention to detail. 
• Good programming skills in Python are a plus. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
